Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements

Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements are valuable tools for resolving the distribution of a marital estate upon divorce or death of a spouse. Often times, parties entering into a marriage have children from a previous relationship. Prenuptial or postnuptial agreements allow parties to resolve how their assets will be distributed in the future and protect the family’s interests.

Couples enter into a prenuptial agreement prior to a marriage and a postnuptial agreement after a marriage. Both agreements require extensive financial disclosure in compliance with Florida law. A considerable amount of foresight is required when preparing such agreements due to the ever-changing law. Andrew Bokan is experienced in negotiating, drafting, reviewing and litigating such agreements.
