Collaborative Law

Collaborative Law is a relatively new process for handling divorce proceedings. Collaborative Divorces engage the parties, along with the aid of counsel, in pre-suit negotiations by adopting a problem-solving posture. The parties to a collaborative divorce enter into a contract with their counsel which states that the attorneys shall withdraw from representation upon a court filing. Such contracts keep the parties vested in the process.
